In 2015, we took that first bold step into the unknown, and ever since then, our curiosity has been unstoppable!
After countless profound realisations, we knew it was time to create a life that truly made us feel alive. And so, the idea was born: a travel blog that would break free from the ordinary and embrace a different approach to exploring the world.

Who we are
We are Romana and Jakub, a couple from Czechia based in Iceland, passionate about unconventional travelling.
Picture this: it’s 2015, and you’ve just moved to England. You’re spending your evenings watching your favourite show, The Amazing Race. One episode features a place so stunning. So breathtaking. That you never even considered before. Istanbul. In a burst of spontaneity, you decide to seize the moment and book flights to Istanbul. One of the most memorable weeks that changed your life. From dancing to feasting on delicious cuisine, you were welcomed with open arms by a Kurdish family who invited you to celebrate New Year’s with them.
After that, we wanted more. In a matter of weeks, we moved to Iceland, which we call home until today. Going to multiple months of adventure every year. Check the countries section to get inspired and explore the countries locally, like us!

During our travels, we experience eye-opening times. We hear unbelievable stories and meet strangers which we later call friends. We grow. Every. Single. Time. From exploring bazaars in Iran to sipping tea in Sahara, travel experiences like these are gems no one can ever take away from us.
